At the first of August we drove to Utah so we could be there to see Dayne come home!! We tried to drive from Missouri to Utah without stopping overnight...bad idea! Between the lack of sleep and 2 car-sick kids and a 4 month old in the back seat I think its safe to say it was the worst drive of my life. But of course as soon as we got there and got to see Dayne get off the plane it made it all worth it.
This was the shortest Utah trip I think we've ever had so it was hard to squeeze in everything we wanted to do and we didn't get to see many of our friends this time.
The kids couldn't wait to go see Grandma Myrna and Grandpa Doug and they were so excited to feed the sheep.
We got to see Tessa and Harper one afternoon. It's so fun and so crazy to see mine and Tessa's kids playing together.
I about died of happiness that by some miracle Paige happened to be in Utah the day we got there. Me and Beck drove up to meet her and Benson before their flight to Virginia. It was soooo fun to see them for a couple hours but made me miss them more than ever when we they had to go!
It was awesome timing when we got to Utah because we also got to be there for Reid's birthday party. Shelby never disappoints when it comes to throwing parties, it was the cutest party in the world. It was a basketball theme and all of the food went along with the theme it was AMAZING. After food everyone went outside for a pinata and to play basketball and to play with the PUPPY the Brandon and Irene rented for the party - haha genius.
The day after Dayne got home we headed down to St George for some Stone family fun, and fun it was! I love our trips to St George we saw Mary Poppins at the Tuacahn, shopping, eating, games, and swimming...it was perfect. It was so fun to have the whole family all together again. We are so proud of Dayne that he would spend 2 years serving the Lord and the people of Honduras but we are sure glad he's home now!

Cutest kids ever!! That birthday party is adorable as well! What is in Reids little ears?
Wow, I remember you telling me when he left. Has it been 2 years? Wow! It always makes you so proud of them, to serve 2 years, not an easy thing to do. So happy you got to see your family, despite the horrible drive. Hope all is well!
Looks like fun! Man, Beck is Dane's (your brother) "mini me"...can't believe how much he looks like him! I'm just sad that that our Utah trips didn't align! Maybe one day! Miss ya!
